We held the inaugural Royal Bay Crit almost exactly one year ago, and I'm thrilled to bring it back for 2025!
It's a bit different featuring left hand turns, but it's on smooth tarmac, and a fun little loop with a slight downhill on the backside, and a slight rise to the finish line!
We'll be starting the day with a Learn To intro clinic, so if you or any of your friends have wanted to get into racing, this is the time for it!
It's $20 to do just the clinic, or it's included in your race fee if racing.
We'll then feature our regular waves of racing, on a tight schedule:
- 10:15 – 10:45 Intro Clinic
- 11:00 – 11:30 “C” Race (25mins + 3 Laps)
- 11:45 – 12:30 “B” Race (40mins + 3 Laps)
- 12:45 – 13:45 “A” Race (55mins + 3 Laps)
All the details are on the site, registration is live! There isn't payment on registration, I'll follow up with details, so if you're on the fence, go ahead and sign up anyway and you'll receive all the necessary updates. Registration closes at 9pm on Friday.
I could also use some volunteers (anyone have some time to drive some race supplies from Royal Oak to Thetis?)
