A Few More Odd’n’Ends
A few items of interest that don’t fall directly under ‘Cycling Club’, but are group-oriented.
- We’ve collected teams and clubs that are focused on cycling, but there are other cycling-related clubs in town, including triathlon teams like Saskia Says and TriNerds.
- It’s worth highlighting there are a couple advocacy organizations as well! Check out the Capital Bike Society (formerly the Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition and I believe Bike To Work Society, who merged), who advocates for cycling in general, and SIMBS, who advocates for mountain bike trails in the CRD.
- If you’re into cycling trips, the Bicycle Sportive Travel Club non-profit group might be for you!
- The BC Randonneurs organize some rides on the island as well for those who like to go long.
