The Victoria MTB Scene

There’s a ton of incredible mountain biking around Greater Victoria and Vancouver Island, and you can learn about much of it here!
There’s Cross Country and Enduro Racing, several dedicated parks with trails, and organizations dedicated to making the Island riding and racing totally gnarly.

SPRING/SUMMER 2026
SIMBS has been organizing some fun stuff, including a new monthly event called the Climb Sampler Series, be sure to check it out, it’s fairly similar to our own Segment Challenge! Also watch for Tenner enduro events in the warmer months! Check the Events section of their site for more info.

Places To Ride
There are a TON of great spots to take a bike on the Island, apps like Trailforks of course is a great place to look, but here are some of the popular spots on the lower Island:

- Royal Roads (not an official MTB park, but easy trails for beginners)
