Hello Royal Bay Resident!

The Royal Bay Crit is back!

Join us on Sunday, May 10th as we race through your neighborhood for the third year running!

We’ve tried our best to accommodate the needs of residents, hopefully this isn’t too much of an inconvenience! For example, during most bike races, the course would be fully closed the entire period, however we’ve set designated Race Breaks for you to be able to come and go.

Key points:

  • Absolutely no driving on the course during the Racing periods
  • Park outside the course if possible; vehicles may remain in recessed parking if necessary
  • Race Breaks (15 min between each race) are your window to come and go
  • Watch for cyclists when crossing; crosswalks are not active during races
  • Emergency vehicles always have full access
  • We hope you come out and watch and cheer!

Course Notes: The full course will be closed during racing. Laneway access and Production Way entry are also closed during races, reopening at each Race Break. Only use northern lane way exits with a traffic marshal. Vehicles heading to the bike park retain access via the half-open roundabout. Consider parking outside the course ahead of time if you wish to avoid delays.
